Registered Behavior Technician
The Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBT Requirements Coordinator, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform.
Able Academics hosts 40-Hour Training course periodically throughout the year. Please see the requirements and the process below for more information:

Complete Initial Competency Assessment

Apply, pass exam and maintain
18 years of age
High School Diploma
Pass Background Check

1 week in-person training
Schedule an Initial RBT Competency assessment with a board certified analyst after 40-hour training course completion
Receive ongoing supervision
Adhere to RBT Ethics code
Renew annually​
